About Rebecca Bohn
Rebecca Bohn MA is a mindfulness and compassion-based psychotherapist and trainer, specializing in the teaching of evidenced based practices that cultivate awareness, emotional balance, compassion and well-being.
Rebecca has a masters degree in counseling psychology from Gonzaga University and has been working in the health field for over 25 years. Ms Bohn is extensively trained in the application of mindfulness based approaches and has been teaching mindfulness programs to individuals, groups and in the public sector for over 30 years. She has trained with Jon Kabat-Zinn, who developed the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program (MBSR), Zindel Zegel Ph.D. who co-developed the Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) program and has trained with Kristen Neff PH.D. and Christopher Germer Ph.D. who developed the Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) training. She is currently undergoing advanced training to become a certified MSC teacher.
Rebecca feels passionate about bringing the practices of mindfulness and self-compassion to others in a variety of settings and creates a warm and welcoming environment for those she teaches.
